What this site is
Buying a turntable on eBay can be a great deal or a heavy, fragile disappointment. The difference is usually knowing what to look for. RecordPlayers.co exists to close that gap with plain-English guides to the different kinds of decks, the models worth searching for, and the checks that protect you when buying used.
RecordPlayers.co is published by Scout Theory LLC. Our sister site, RareVinyl.co, covers the records themselves.
How we work
- Sources, linked. Model specs and dates come from manufacturers' own pages and established publications. We link them under each model and at the end of each article so you can check them.
- No invented prices. Used prices change daily. Instead of printing a number that goes stale, every "Check prices" button opens a live eBay search.
- No fake reviews or ratings. We don't publish star ratings, scores or testimonials. We're a buying guide, not a test lab, and we don't claim to have hands-on tested the decks we mention.
- Corrections welcome. Spotted something wrong? Tell us and we'll fix it.
How we make money
RecordPlayers.co is reader-supported. We're a member of the eBay Partner Network. When you click one of our eBay links and buy something, eBay may pay us a commission. It doesn't change the price you pay.
Links that can earn us money are eBay links, marked with a "Check prices on eBay" or "Search eBay" button, and pages with them say so near the top. No manufacturer has paid to be featured on this site.
What we're not
We don't sell turntables, and we're not eBay or any eBay seller. Questions about a specific listing or order should go to the seller, or to eBay's customer service.
